MMEP's research process nurtures the personal development of individuals and organizations to cultivate academic achievement among underserved and hard-to-reach students with the ultimate goal of promoting education equity. Our organization publishes of the State of Student of Color & American Indian Students report series as well as the College Access Matters report.
We have facilitated statewide leadership workshops and sponsored leadership training on closing the achievement gap that integrates evidence-based practices that are culturally and organizationally appropriate. We help participants in our training and workshops think through complex questions about race-equity and how to build staff and organizational capacities to close disparities that continue to have negative effects on the well-being of communities of color.
