    Why Minnesota Needs All-Day, Everyday Kindergarten

    The kindergarten year is an important part of a young child’s development and is a critical part of the continuum from early childhood through the early elementary years. For children who have been in an all-day, every day early childhood environment, going to half-day K can often seem like a step backward in their development.
