MCAN

The MMEP Board of Directors initiated the Minnesota College Access Network [MCAN] in order to build a strong network of people who believe all of Minnesota’s students can and should have access to college. The power of the Network lies in working together with multiple stakeholders: schools, corporations, community organizations, families, children, media and higher education institutions.

Our advocacy efforts are dedicated to making sure that every student in our state has access to higher education. We provide trainings, host networking events and serve as a conduit for information for best practices and innovative strategies in the college access community. We also provide technical assistance for communities wishing to start college access centers.
