MMEP board member named to AACTE committee Aug. 17, 2010: Nadine Haley, associate professor, Metropolitan State University and MMEP Board Member has been appointed to the Committee on Research and Dissemination for the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (AACTE). AACTE is a national alliance of educator preparation programs dedicated to the highest quality professional development of teachers and school leaders in order to enhance PK-12 student learning. The Committee on Research and Dissemination is charged with developing the Association’s research agenda in order to assist the membership in reaching evidence-based professional consensus regarding professional education in five areas: standards, curriculum, assessment, accountability and membership in the profession. The Committee also serves as members of the editorial board for the Journal of Teacher Education. Nadine was selected due to her special expertise and contributions to the field. She will be filling an existing vacancy in the committee composition.
