Carlos Mariani Rosa was asked to weigh in on new data about income, education and race. His comments were included in a brief, “Change in Income by Education Level, by Race in Minnesota,” produced by the Minnesota Private College Council.

 

Carlos, who has over 25 years of experience advocating on behalf of communities of color, commented that, “Increased educational attainment produces benefits for all racial groups. . . .We can target strategies tailored for specific groups while expecting all students to meet the same high quality expectations.”

 

Paul W. Mattessich, executive director, Wilder Research, and Steve Hine, research director, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development also provided expert comments for the brief.
